ROLE SUMMARY

The Senior Manager is tasked with developing and sustaining a robust framework for analyzing insider risks, which is integral to the Global Insider Threat Management Program. Key responsibilities include responding to insider incidents and collaborating with various business units such as human resources, data owners, legal, physical security, and IT teams. This role also serves as a technical expert to bolster related initiatives like threat intelligence and cybersecurity incident response. The manager will track and oversee program metrics (KPI/KRI) to ensure the program's growth while minimizing organizational risk.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience/certification.
  • 7+ years of experience in insider threat/risk or information security, including cross-functional incident response and risk assessments.
  • 3+ years of experience with SIEM, DLP, and UEBA tools.
  • 3+ years of experience with Endpoint Detection and Response platforms and root cause analysis.

Desirable:

  • Current information security certifications such as CISM, CISA, or CISSP.
  • Project management expertise.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Attention to detail and compliance with standards.
  • Background in technical infrastructure operations or engineering.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Insider Threat Management & Response

  • Establish a comprehensive framework for documenting and integrating adversary emulation assessments.
  • Gather relevant intelligence on attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the incident response team to triage alerts from suspicious activities.
  • Act as a technical expert to enhance programs related to incident response and threat hunting.
  • Develop and report on key metrics for the insider threat management program.
  • Utilize corporate tools to identify anomalous activities and potential threats.
  • Analyze adversary tradecraft and malicious code for threat detection.
  • Respond to urgent situations to mitigate threats and ensure compliance with data breach laws.
  • Conduct assessments of threats and vulnerabilities, recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Analyze threat information from various sources to inform investigations.
