Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse with Christus Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide direct and indirect care to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
  • Supervise and evaluate the activities of ancillary nursing personnel
  • Prescribe and delegate patient teaching and activities

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalent
  • Current license or permit to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas
  • AHA BLS certification within two weeks of employment
  • ACLS certification within eight weeks of employment
  • Arrhythmia Recognition Course certification within eight weeks of employment
