About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Account Manager to join our team at Michael Page. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the ingredient sales industry, with a proven track record of building relationships and driving sales success.

The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, creating and executing sales strategies to achieve targeted goals and objectives, and participating in critical business decision-making meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Manage and grow existing customer relationships, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and expand into new markets.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targeted goals and objectives, including creating and managing pricing strategies across assigned accounts.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in the ingredient sales industry, with a proven track record of building relationships and driving sales success.
  • Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
  • Education: A science-related degree is highly desirable, but not essential.

Compensation and Benefits:

Our client offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. This role also offers the opportunity to work from home, with some travel required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
