POSITION SUMMARY:

The role of Customer Service Station Representative at Amerijet International Airlines is pivotal in delivering exceptional service to all clients, whether face-to-face, via telephone, or through electronic communication. Key responsibilities encompass managing shipping details, supervising station operations to ensure precision and quality, and upholding cleanliness and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Efficiently executing tasks with a focus on effectiveness.
  • Providing customers with quotes, billing, tracking, and scheduling information.
  • Reviewing and rectifying all documentation and information.
  • Overseeing warehouse inventories and coordinating local pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Inputting warehouse receipts for both air and ocean freight.
  • Ensuring prompt and accurate entry of all Proof of Deliveries (PODs).
  • Assisting clients with document processing and payment transactions.
  • Correctly labeling freight prior to dispatch.
  • Scanning freight for tracking purposes.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the facility.
  • Adhering to Amerijet's operational procedures and standards.
  • Managing freight loading and unloading using a forklift.
  • Conducting inventory tasks as assigned.
  • And more.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working autonomously.
  • Administrative and computer proficiency.
  • Prior experience in warehouse operations and forklift operation is preferred.
  • Experience in customer service and conflict resolution is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of HAZMAT handling is preferred.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Capability to follow instructions and resolve issues.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Valid Driver's License and eligibility to work in the country of the position.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position may include the training of new team members.

Language Skills:

Effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Physical Activities and Requirements:
