Guardant Health is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our growing Screening and Early Detection commercial team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with sales leadership to develop and execute a go-to-market sales strategy for our revolutionary new technology in cancer screening.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect and target healthcare providers for high utilization of our liquid biopsy technology for cancer screening.
- Meet or exceed sales goals, maximize promotional budgets, and execute the national sales strategy in accordance with Guardant Health standards.
- Drive strategic business expansion and collaboration opportunities with primary care providers and their practices.
- Develop and implement a business plan in line with brand strategy to support the launch of our new technology.
- Identify and partner with national, regional, and local laboratories that offer phlebotomy draw agreements.
- Initiate and secure lab service draw agreements, in-service, and train specimen collection, workflow, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities in the marketplace, share best practices, and proactively communicate strategies to cross-functional partners and members of the Commercial Team.
- Continually analyze the competitive landscape and environment within assigned accounts to determine trends and provide customer feedback to GHI leadership.
- Structure detailed strategic plans for gaining and retaining new and existing clients.
- Manage implementation of all promotional activities to support sales and marketing strategies, in accordance with high industry standards and company policies.
- Work effectively with individuals across multiple departments throughout Guardant Health.
- Collaborate and coordinate with sales team to ensure successful attainment of company goals and objectives.
- Embody and represent the Guardant Health company culture at all times to external and internal constituents.
- Able to travel daily within assigned territory and some travel outside of assigned area for regional or national meetings.
- Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
- Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.
