Position Overview
The Community Operations Manager (Non-Exempt) is responsible for the comprehensive management of daily activities at a smaller property, typically under 300 units, while overseeing a team of up to 5 Full-Time Employees (FTEs). This role is crucial in enhancing the property's value and ensuring alignment with the Client's operational and financial objectives.

  • Property Management: Oversee all aspects of property operations, ensuring adherence to client expectations.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and develop on-site staff, including roles such as Assistant Community Director and Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Client Engagement: Foster positive relationships with residents, vendors, and clients, maintaining effective communication.
  • Occupancy Management: Ensure optimal occupancy levels and implement marketing strategies to attract residents.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage revenue through lease expirations and timely turnover, ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate resident files and ensure timely reporting of operational metrics.
  • Risk and Compliance Management: Uphold compliance with safety regulations and property management standards.
  • Facility Oversight: Address maintenance needs promptly and ensure the physical asset is well-maintained.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in affordable housing programs and at least 1 year in a leadership role within Residential Property Management. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for candidates holding a degree in a related field. Proficiency in English and strong computer skills are essential.
