About the Role

Portland Community College is seeking a visionary Chief Information Officer and Associate Vice President for Information Technology to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of a cutting-edge Information Technology division. This division will support teaching and learning, operations, client support, and innovation, aligning with the College's strategic plan to become a national leader in equitable student success and information technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the College's mission and goals.
  • Lead a team of IT professionals to deliver high-quality services and support to students, faculty, and staff.
  • Collaborate with institutional and external partners to advance the College's mission and strategic goals.
  • Play a key role in supporting the College's alignment towards a one-college structure.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, collaborative, and highly visible leader who can communicate an institutional IT vision to both internal and external constituents. They must motivate and champion their colleagues, and have a proven track record of success in leading IT initiatives.
