Job Title: Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging

Job Summary:

The Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences at the University of Florida's College of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for a full-time clinical-track faculty position in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging at the Assistant/Associate Professor academic rank. The successful candidate will join a team of experienced radiologists and contribute to the teaching, clinical service, and research missions of the Diagnostic Imaging Services in the UF Veterinary Hospitals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide didactic teaching and clinical training of professional students, graduate students, and residents in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging
  • Participate in and support the teaching and service missions of Diagnostic Imaging in the Veterinary Medical Center
  • Contribute to scholarly productivity through publication of clinical or educational research studies
  • Collaborate with other faculty radiologists to develop and implement imaging protocols and procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and imaging services

Requirements:

  • DVM or equivalent degree
  • Board certification in Veterinary Radiology or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Commitment to teaching, clinical service, and research

The Diagnostic Imaging Services in the UF Veterinary Hospitals are equipped with state-of-the-art imaging equipment, including digital radiography, ultrasound, MRI, and CT scanners.
