Job Overview

The Clinical Coordinator for Family Planning Services plays a pivotal role within the Title X family planning initiative, overseeing nursing and medical operations at clinics supported by the Indiana Family Health Council. This position collaborates closely with the agency's medical director to formulate medical protocols, standardized practices, and comprehensive policies for the program. It is essential to ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and guidelines throughout the execution of duties.

  • Oversee Sub-Grantee family planning initiatives through timely reporting, medical inventory management, desktop audits, and site evaluations.
  • Serve as a liaison for Sub-Grantee nurse practitioners and medical personnel regarding clinical service trends, EMR technical issues, and general support.
  • Interpret quality family planning standards and requirements for Sub-Grantees to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Evaluate and assess Sub-Grantee quality assurance and improvement outcome reports in coordination with the IFHC Program Team.
  • Act as a resource for agency personnel on emerging developments in the medical field related to family planning.
  • Provide technical assistance and training in the medical and nursing domains.
  • Annually update the IFHC Medical Policy and Procedure Manual and Clinical Outcome Manual.
