Senior HR Business Consultant

Global Recruiters of Lincoln Square (GRN) is seeking a Senior HR Business Consultant for a prominent private equity-backed multi-site healthcare services organization. This position will initially require full on-site presence, with potential for a hybrid work arrangement in the future.

Position Overview

The Senior HR Business Consultant plays a pivotal role as a strategic ally to various business units, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their financial health, strategic objectives, workplace culture, and competitive environment. This role is essential in promoting the organization’s mission while enhancing the overall employee experience. The consultant will actively participate in crafting and executing talent management strategies, succession planning, leadership development, and change management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and execute a comprehensive suite of HR processes and functions, providing expert guidance to management.
  • Facilitate organizational effectiveness and change management, collaborating to support new initiatives, policy updates, process enhancements, and the adoption of innovative tools.
  • Lead talent assessments, performance evaluations, team development initiatives, culture surveys, and action planning efforts, measuring effectiveness and reporting results to management quarterly.
  • Collaborate with HR and Benefits teams to design and implement comprehensive total rewards programs and processes.
  • Ensure all HR initiatives comply with local and national regulations, staying informed on current guidelines, legislation, and industry trends.
  • Advise leadership on improvements to policies, procedures, and programs to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide employee relations support to leadership and staff, offering guidance on work-related matters while interpreting and applying organizational policies. Address employee concerns comprehensively and serve as a mentor to enhance performance. Collaborate with leadership, external partners, and legal counsel to resolve employee issues fairly and promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience, with at least 5 years in HR leadership roles.
  • Experience in the healthcare services sector is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to partner with a diverse range of internal stakeholders, including executives, managers, and staff.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing processes and programs related to team development, retention, recognition, and diversity and inclusion.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to manage conflict, mediate disputes, and build consensus effectively.
  • Strong change management capabilities, with a capacity to adapt quickly to evolving circumstances.
  • Engagement in talent management practices, including selection, promotion, development, and employee engagement, to foster a sustainable workforce.
  • Proficiency in Office365, applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, onboarding, and performance management tools.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple critical initiatives simultaneously.
  • Willingness to work fully on-site initially and travel up to 25% as needed.
