Job Overview

This position not only contributes to the development of a brighter future but also equips you with valuable skills applicable in civilian roles. As an HR Specialist, you will gain experience that is highly sought after in various industries, particularly in payroll, timekeeping, and human resources departments.

Training and Development

Instead of incurring costs to acquire these skills, you will receive compensation while you train. In the Army National Guard, you will earn a regular paycheck while qualifying for tuition assistance as you learn essential job skills.

Training includes 10 weeks of Basic Training, where you will acquire fundamental Soldiering skills, followed by 9 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, focusing on typing skills, Army correspondence preparation, personnel record management, and data retrieval procedures.

Requirements
