Strategic Business Consulting Services is on the lookout for a seasoned and proactive Senior Human Resources Generalist to enhance our client's workforce.

In this pivotal role, you will manage comprehensive human resources functions, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance assessment, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in HR management and demonstrate a successful history of executing impactful HR initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and enforce human resources policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and legal standards.
  • Supervise the recruitment and selection process, encompassing job advertisements, resume evaluations, and interview facilitation.
  • Oversee the onboarding and offboarding procedures, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all personnel transitions.
  • Provide expert advice and support to management on employee relations matters, including performance evaluations, disciplinary measures, and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct regular performance assessments and offer coaching and constructive feedback to employees to foster continuous improvement.
  • Act as a resource for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, including benefits, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Cultivate and maintain partnerships with external entities, such as recruitment agencies, benefits providers, and legal advisors.
  • Continuously assess and enhance HR processes and procedures to promote efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead and engage in various HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR management, ideally within a consulting or professional services context.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Proven project management expertise and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities concurrently.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is advantageous.
