Key Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor's degree from a recognized institution is required; a focus in a scientific discipline is preferred.

Responsibilities:
The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation to closing deals, within a designated territory, utilizing a structured selling methodology. This role will develop and execute a comprehensive Operating Plan to meet both personal and organizational sales objectives.
- Deliver VWR solutions to clients across Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Industrial, and Academic sectors.
- Manage a diverse customer base across various market segments.
- Identify and engage new clients by managing a sales pipeline and presenting tailored proposals that highlight VWR's value.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the entire product line offered by VWR, regardless of market specialty.
- Employ a consultative selling approach to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with sales management to create strategic business plans aimed at achieving sales growth and meeting quotas.
- Work alongside the sales management team to develop proposals and implement effective sales strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Oversee VWR's extensive product portfolio and execute company-defined sales and marketing strategies.
- Enhance VWR's engagement with existing clients by developing retention strategies that align with evolving customer needs.
- Utilize available resources to effectively implement the company's marketing plan and sales processes.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers.
- Collaborate with local manufacturer representatives to enhance product knowledge, negotiate favorable pricing, and improve account profitability.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
