Job Title: Director of Business Development, Powerline

At BluRoc, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Business Development, Powerline to drive new sales and growth in the Northeast regional market.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing long-term trusting relationships with power transmission contractor client accounts within the Northeast operational territory and other areas where BluRoc operates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner and support Senior Sales leadership in their efforts to expand opportunities within current clients by closing the deal and staying involved to ensure client satisfaction during operations.
  • Proactively develop and manage long-term trusting relationships with power transmission contractor client accounts within the Northeast operational territory and other areas where BluRoc operates.
  • Consistently model a culture of one BluRoc that is collaborative, creative, and passionate.
  • Assess needs, provide counsel, technical advice around matting and our services, and provide value-added insights for sales meetings.
  • Customize product solutions to build value and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Assist and deliver an effective sales presentation to prospective customers to ensure that the product and services offered are thoroughly explained and understood.
  • Identify and contact potential clients through current relationships, cold calls, and emails.
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
  • Report to the Vice President of Sales and Estimating on business development activities, opportunity pipeline, and sales results (weekly/monthly/quarterly).
  • Stay up to date with new products/services and new pricing.
  • Document customer activity in designated CRM systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and five (5) or more years' proven work experience as a Sales or Business Development Professional, with strong current relationships selling construction services in the Power and Utility industry; or equivalent combination of related relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated record of achieving goals and closing the sale.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) to track sales activities.
  • Active use of MS Excel (analyzing & creating spreadsheets and charts).
  • Demonstrated use of sales performance metrics and data analytics to develop strategies and meet growth goals.
  • Ability to create relationships with internal clients to ensure success.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop and deliver engaging presentations.
  • Travel demand can be up to 60%.
