Speech Language Pathologist Per Diem Position

Mass General Brigham is seeking a per diem Speech Language Pathologist to provide services for patients with speech, language, hearing, and oral motor problems. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech Pathology and current licensure and registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Massachusetts.

The Speech Therapist Level I will be responsible for providing services with the participation of the family and other members of the interdisciplinary team as indicated. This position reports to the Assistant Director, Rehabilitation Services and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated knowledge in the principles of speech and language therapy, strong verbal and written communication skills, and good interpersonal skills. A current driver's license, good driving record, and reliable transportation are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech, language, hearing, and oral motor services to patients
  • Work with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology from a school approved by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
  • Current licensure and registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Massachusetts
  • Current CPR certification
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the principles of speech and language therapy
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills
  • Current driver's license, good driving record, and reliable transportation
