HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM COORDINATOR - SAGE SOLUTIONS GROUP
Job Overview
Sage Solutions Group is in search of a Housing Assistance Program Coordinator responsible for managing the execution and oversight of our housing and rental assistance programs. This role ensures adherence to regulations while providing effective services to qualified participants. This position is community-focused and requires in-person engagement.

Key Responsibilities
PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
  • Supervises the lease-up process for the organization
  • Facilitates the income recertification process
  • Communicates relevant updates regarding moves, lease renewals, and recertifications during weekly meetings
  • Maintains and updates client communication procedures
  • Oversees the billing processes for tenants and landlords
  • Ensures compliance with organizational policies throughout the voucher process
  • Develops and implements streamlined workflows for processing housing assistance vouchers, including routing, review, and approval
  • Identifies opportunities for enhancing efficiency and accuracy in voucher processing
  • Conducts audits as necessary
  • Manages both digital and physical rental assistance files
  • Utilizes AppFolio software for rental assistance management
  • May require travel to client locations for document signing
LANDLORD MANAGEMENT
  • Oversees the procedures related to landlord contracts
  • Verifies documentation provided by landlords
  • Manages property vacancy processes
  • Coordinates lease renewal activities
  • Handles insurance certifications and inspection arrangements
  • Administers access credentials for landlord and property portals
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES
  • Maintains regular attendance as scheduled
  • Performs additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or a related discipline (preferred)
  • Property management certification is advantageous
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in property or housing management, social services, or a related field (required)
  • Prior knowledge of housing voucher programs and associated regulations
  • Valid Driver's License
