As a Site Reliability Engineer at Editech Staffing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. In this position, you will collaborate with skilled developers and support teams to create and enhance automation tools, monitor system performance, and guarantee smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

System Reliability:
Design, develop, and sustain high-performance, dependable systems to support our applications and services.

Automation and Tooling:
Create automation tools and scripts for deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Monitoring and Incident Management:
Establish monitoring solutions and respond to alerts to meet uptime and performance SLAs. Troubleshoot and resolve incidents swiftly to minimize downtime by analyzing insights and logs. Develop usage and monitoring dashboards in cloud environments for the DevOps, Development, and Client Operations teams.

Scalability:
Collaborate with development teams to design scalable architectures and continuously enhance infrastructure for growth and performance.

Performance Optimization:
Identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions for enhanced performance and efficiency. Analyze usage logs to identify cost optimizations and infrastructure improvements.

Security:
Work together on security strategies to ensure systems and applications are secure and compliant with industry standards.

Documentation and Communication:
Document processes, procedures, and configurations. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:
Actively seek opportunities for automation, process enhancement, and the adoption of new technologies.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Demonstrated experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role within a production environment.
Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) and incident management.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with a teamwork-oriented mindset.

Preferred Skills:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar.
Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
