Your Role:

  • Facilitating training sessions to implement Maximo-integrated, 5-Why RCA's and Troubleshooting methodologies to maintain the Mechanical, Electrical, and Process FMECA/RCM, aimed at minimizing significant production losses.
  • Engaging in Corporate Weekly Reliability Teams Meetings, training sessions, webinars, and subscriptions to SMRP and Reliability Magazine to stay informed on the latest reliability practices and support ongoing improvements.
  • Leading corporate surveys, questionnaires, and benchmarking initiatives as part of IKO Reliability Assessments.
  • Utilizing Prodac/Maximo interface, production loss, and maintenance cost data to spearhead Problem Solving and troubleshooting teams focused on maximizing value returns.
  • Building strong collaborative relationships with Maintenance and Operations teams to establish effective Running PdM and Shutdown PM plans that meet or exceed critical performance indicators.
  • Organizing and facilitating a shingle line FMECA/RCM following a detailed Pareto analysis of production losses linked to critical assets, aiding in PM Optimization and Spare Parts strategy development.
  • Troubleshooting equipment, designing for reliability, selecting and managing qualified contractors for precise installation and commissioning of new equipment, and overseeing modifications and critical parts requirements.
  • Acting as a backup for the Inventory Coordinator and Planner/Scheduler during emergencies and vacations, ensuring familiarity with standardized formats and required disciplines.
  • Promoting and exemplifying IKO's core values and leadership behaviors.
  • Taking on additional high-priority reliability-related responsibilities as assigned by the Manager.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • University degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 3 years of reliability experience in continuous process manufacturing settings.
  • Familiarity with condition monitoring tools such as vibration analysis, ultrasonic testing, lubrication, and thermography.
  • Proven experience in facilitating successful RCFA's.
  • Knowledge of FMECA's, PM recommendations for preventing probable failure modes, production loss analysis, failure mitigation strategies, and Spare Parts optimization.
  • Fluency in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills and effective presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in developing standardized PM's & PdM's within Maximo or similar CMMS, along with MS Office and AutoCAD.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to learn and share knowledge across IKO sites.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and a solid work ethic.
  • Operational and supervisory experience is advantageous.
