Key Responsibilities

  • Train and oversee catering staff
  • Ensure all food preparations, presentations, and services adhere to company standards
  • Monitor responsible alcohol service and report any violations
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints
  • Maintain cleanliness and stock levels in all workstations, pantries, and storerooms
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in a hotel, full-service restaurant, catering facility, or club environment is required
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and leadership capabilities
  • Ability to work accurately, efficiently, and courteously in a high-pressure environment
  • Effective communication skills with guests, along with the ability to retain and convey menu information and service preferences
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash and inventory management
  • No college degree is necessary

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds for setup, service, and cleanup
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift, including navigating stairs and lifting as required
  • Adaptability to variable temperatures while moving between kitchen and dining environments
  • May need to work in confined and/or narrow spaces
