About Us:
At Community Teamwork, we strive to make a difference in the lives of low-income individuals and families. As a Residential Counselor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our shelter site.

Job Description:
You will be responsible for conducting intakes of participants, maintaining the safety and security of the building, and providing support and structure to guests. Your excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, volunteers, donors, and participants will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of guests and the site.
- Enforce rules and regulations to ensure smooth operation of the site.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations, document appropriately, and communicate according to established guidelines.
- Complete the intake process for new guests.
- Provide support and structure, addressing guest/resident problems or concerns.
- Initiate crisis intervention when necessary.
- Record documentation as required by program guidelines.
- Attend and actively participate in meetings and trainings as requested.
- Monitor security cameras.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of community resources for low-income individuals and families.
- Empathy and understanding of homelessness and related issues.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, volunteers, donors, and participants.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in basic computer software and data collection systems.
- Strong crisis management skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and confidentiality.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish, English/Haitian-Creole, English/Khmer, English/Portuguese) preferred.

Estimated Salary: $23.59 - $28.59 per hour, depending on experience.
