About the Role

The Dietitian - Community Outreach will play a vital role in developing and implementing community-based nutrition programs, working closely with healthcare teams to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent chronic diseases. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement community-based nutrition programs that address specific health needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with community partners to leverage resources and expertise.
  • Develop and disseminate educational materials on nutrition and health promotion.
  • Provide individual and group counseling on healthy eating habits and lifestyle choices.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance program effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian with a Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in community nutrition or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Bilingual preferred.
