Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Referral Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Lowell Community Health Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing referrals, scheduling specialty appointments, and providing exceptional customer service.

About the Role:

  • Process incoming and outgoing referrals in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Schedule specialty appointments for health center patients and inform them of appointment details.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain data and referral tracking systems.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver superior patient care.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of office experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus.
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish, Portuguese, or Khmer are desired.

Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
