Join Our Team as an Education Operations Specialist

The American Retirement Association is seeking an Education Operations Specialist to enhance our dynamic team. This role is integral to our education department, focusing on the planning and execution of certification programs, continuing education initiatives, and examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the association's continuing education policies and member communications.
  • Manage the program approval process and conduct audits.
  • Administer continuing education and recertification activities, ensuring alignment across various systems.
  • Provide support for customer inquiries related to continuing education.
  • Facilitate the administration and management of examinations and credential maintenance.
  • Coordinate the annual awards programs, including application processes and selection criteria.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in a member-based association.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with Association Management Systems, Learning Management Systems, and project management tools.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional demeanor.
  • Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to adapt to various technological tools and work independently.
  • Experience in continuing education administration is preferred.
