Office Operations Manager

As an Office Manager at Drivemode, you will be responsible for leading our internal operations to ensure a comfortable, safe, and efficient work environment. This role requires close collaboration with the COO, HR, and Finance teams to drive growth and improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily office operations, including supply management, vendor relationships, office maintenance, and workspace safety.
- Manage property and space planning, including seating arrangements and workstations.
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and streamline operations.
- Create and coordinate company events, meetings, and team-building activities.
- Assist the HR team with onboarding new employees, including workstation preparation, orientation sessions, and employee documentation.
- Support HR initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, training sessions, and performance reviews.
- Monitor office expenses, budget, and purchasing to ensure cost-effective solutions for office needs.
- Manage facilities-related projects, such as office relocations or renovations.
- Collaborate with the Japan branch operations team to establish a global culture and operations platform.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as an office manager at small to mid-sized companies.
- 2+ years of managing a small team.
- Self-starter with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks with minimal oversight.
- Comfortable managing and negotiating with various vendors.
- Able to bring smiles and comfort to the faces of our high-performing team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with office searches and moves.
- Bilingual English/Japanese skills, although not required.
Compensation:
This position offers a total compensation package of $101,000 - $141,000 per year, including a bonus structure and full benefits. Actual compensation packages are based on individual factors, such as demonstrated skill set, years of experience, and role-dependent factors.
