Property Operations Specialist

Dominium is a leading affordable housing development and property management company, and we're seeking a skilled Property Operations Specialist to join our team. As a dynamic and results-driven leader, you'll play a central role in improving the operations of distressed assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement action plans to maximize occupancy, collections, and physical appearance while ensuring compliance.
  • Execute comprehensive action plans tailored to the unique needs of each distressed site.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement beyond the scope of the project.
  • Monitor and communicate project updates to team leads.
  • Lead and motivate on-site teams to improve distressed properties, ensuring adherence to operational standards.
  • In the absence of critical site staff, oversee day-to-day property operations while onsite, actively managing and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, engaging team members to contribute to the successful completion of each project.
Requirements:
  • At least two to five years of experience in on-site property management.
  • At least one year of Dominium experience.
  • Accounting and administrative background helpful.
  • Strong knowledge in tax credit.
  • Expert customer service and demonstrated people skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office experience.
  • Ability to work and understand the problems and various needs of employees, prospects, vendors, and residents.
  • Ability to troubleshoot quickly and produce performance-based results.
