Property Operations Specialist

Dominium is a leading affordable housing development and property management company seeking a dynamic and results-driven Property Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a central role in improving the performance of our distressed assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement action plans to maximize occupancy, collections, and physical appearance while ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Execute comprehensive action plans tailored to the unique needs of each distressed site, identifying opportunities for improvement and communicating project updates to team leads.
  • Lead and motivate on-site teams to improve distressed properties, ensuring adherence to operational standards and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • In the absence of critical site staff, oversee day-to-day property operations, actively managing and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve optimal functionality and performance across all aspects of property operations.
Requirements:
  • At least two to five years of experience in on-site property management.
  • At least one year of Dominium experience.
  • Accounting and administrative background helpful.
  • Strong knowledge in tax credit.
  • Expert customer service and demonstrated people skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office experience.
  • Ability to work and understand the problems and various needs of employees, prospects, vendors, and residents.
  • Ability to troubleshoot quickly and produce performance-based results.
