Job Title: Regional Director

Overview:

The Regional Director is a seasoned property management professional responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to ensure customer partnerships are maintained and operated in accordance with Castle Group standards and community objectives. This role requires collaboration with the Board of Directors, Property Managers, and internal support staff to oversee and operate the community, addressing any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serves as a liaison between Home Office, Property Managers, and Board of Directors, fostering open communication and professional relationships.
  • Responsible for retaining assigned accounts and proactively hiring Property Managers in advance of need.
  • Attains and exceeds budgeted contribution margins for each account, driving business growth and profitability.
  • Cultivates a positive business culture, promoting a collaborative team environment and Castle Group values.
  • Supervises hiring and management of direct employees, ensuring they meet community goals and standards.
  • Completes performance evaluations of direct reports, providing constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Ensures personnel are equipped to meet community objectives, attending Annual, Budget, Board of Directors, and Special Meetings as needed.
  • Supports business development functions, assisting with the transition of new accounts and providing semi-annual written reports to the Business Unit Leader.
  • Oversees budgets for all associations in the region, developing and implementing Castle Group Best Practices on-site.
  • Implements training for Castle software, enforcing Castle policies and procedures, and establishing operational procedures for activities such as fire prevention, firefighting, traffic control, and parking control.
  • Evaluates underperforming properties, implementing strategies for improvement and ensuring hurricane emergency procedures are in place at each site.
Qualifications:
  • Active Community Association Manager License or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills to create effective customer-focused relationships.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and gain buy-in from colleagues, clients, and management.
  • Highly organized, people-oriented individual with the ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to present and communicate in front of large audiences, with coaching and training abilities and understanding of Accounting principles.
  • Intermediate to advanced command of computer hardware/software, specifically Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • English is required, with multiple language fluency desirable.
  • Valid Driver's License.
Education and Experience:
  • Associates degree required, with a concentration in Business, Real Estate, and/or Hospitality preferred.
  • 4+ years of Community Association Management and/or business experience with increasing levels of leadership and management responsibility.
  • Proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and Property Management systems such as Jenark.
Working Conditions:

Most work will be completed indoors in a temperature-controlled environment with little to moderate noise levels. Depending on the community, may regularly be required to walk/work outdoors to perform inspections, regular tours, or attend to other property needs.

Ability to hear, understand, and respond appropriately to verbal requests made in person and over the telephone. Visual ability correctable to 20/20. Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building, as required to meet the job functions. Ability to work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time, will fluctuate day by day. Ability to respond verbally in an understandable, professional manner in person and over the telephone. Manual dexterity to input data into the computer with extensive use of fingers for typing and visual use of the computer monitor. Ability to lift 10lbs. Ability to stoop and bend. Occasional handling, grasping, and lifting of objects and packages.
