Lateral Recruiting Specialist

The Lateral Recruiting Specialist reports to the Associate Director of Lateral Recruiting and is responsible for managing lateral recruitment for the New York office of C&M Legal Search, LLC. The role involves developing recruitment strategies, managing relationships with legal search firms, and overseeing the entire hiring process for lateral associates, counsel, judicial clerks, and other full-time associates. This includes screening resumes, coordinating interviews, facilitating decision-making, and drafting offer letters. The specialist is also tasked with maintaining recruitment records, processing invoices, and tracking candidate data to inform recruitment strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Developing recruitment strategies to attract top talent
• Managing relationships with legal search firms to source candidates
• Overseeing the entire hiring process from resume screening to offer letters
• Maintaining recruitment records and processing invoices
• Tracking candidate data to inform recruitment strategies

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree
• At least four years of law firm experience
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Adaptability and ability to handle confidential information
• Availability to work in the office at least three times a week
