Job Title: Front Desk Agent

Delta Hotel by Marriott Orlando is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join their team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to provide exceptional guest service and support to our hotel operations. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for ensuring their stay is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests with a warm and welcoming smile, maintaining eye contact and using a positive and clear speaking voice.
  • Employ operational and selling techniques to maximize occupancy levels and achieve the highest average rate possible.
  • Maintain accurate information on and promote hotel facilities, ensuring that staff is aware of and adheres to all relevant procedures.
  • Ensure effective communication within Front Office and related departments, and with all hotel departments, staying aware of issues relating to front office and general hotel operations.
  • Adhere to safety, security, and emergency procedures, reacting appropriately during emergency situations and acting promptly to correct hazards.
  • Understand and operate front office telephone, computer systems, and equipment, including ten key adding machines and facsimile machines.
  • Promptly complete registration processes, input and retrieve information from computer systems, and confirm pertinent information, including number of guests, method of payment, and length of stay.
  • Close out guest accounts at time of check-out, properly filing and retrieving registration cards.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must speak, read, and understand English.
  • Full-time hours available, with flexible scheduling for morning or evening shifts, plus weekends and holidays.
