Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Representative to join our team at Howard Johnson I-Drive. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Register guests, assign rooms, and process payments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communication: Respond to guest inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information about hotel amenities and services.
  • Room Management: Maintain accurate records of room availability, guest accounts, and inventory management.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Ensure the lobby, public areas, and guest rooms are clean and well-maintained.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations, such as power outages or water leaks, in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Prior guest service experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in computer systems.
Working Conditions:

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The work environment is a hotel setting with exposure to adverse weather conditions and hazardous chemicals.
