About the Role

Xometry is seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to lead our Account Executive team focused on converting first-time inbound customers and managing an existing book of business. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing business plans, meeting and exceeding planned goals, and coordinating with our marketing department on lead generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a high-performing team of sales professionals to consistently exceed sales goals.
  • Oversee the management of the sales pipeline to track and evaluate activities at each stage.
  • Work closely with sales and operations teams to assist reps in winning deals and ensure seamless coordination to optimize sales processes and outcomes.
  • Monitor employee productivity and motivate the team to reach daily and monthly goals.
  • Ensure accurate and complete information is captured in CRM-Salesforce and utilize CRM tools to manage and analyze sales activities and pipeline health.
  • Supervise the team in accordance with company policies and procedures and provide ongoing training, coaching, and development to enhance the team's skills and product knowledge.
  • Report to senior management on sales metrics and opportunities and use data-driven insights to forecast revenue and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales and 3+ years of experience managing and directing a sales team.
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dedication to providing great customer service.
  • Ability to train, develop, grow, and lead a sales team to success.
  • Eager and driven to exceed goals.
  • Must be able to work onsite 3 days a week in our office.
