Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team at SMS. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building relationships with small to medium-sized business owners and presidents, with the goal of securing Business Analysts a Survey Agreement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing for daily sales appointments, focusing on local businesses within a 20-mile radius of your home
  • Directing sales appointments with business owners, highlighting the benefits of our services and securing new business opportunities
  • Providing feedback to the Business Coordinator on appointment outcomes and sharing new lead opportunities
  • Reviewing daily successes and challenges with your Sales Manager, receiving support as needed

Requirements:

  • At least three years of business ownership experience or face-to-face direct sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but relevant experience will be considered
  • Highly self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Outgoing personality with expertise in developing relationships, particularly with business owners and executives
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to uncover client pain points
  • Ability to begin work immediately
