Job Title: Sr. Tax Analyst, International

SpaceX is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Tax Analyst to join our international tax team in Hawthorne, CA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local tax requirements and e-invoicing regulations for our subsidiaries worldwide.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and coordinate tax returns, financial reports, and other tax-related documents with external service providers.
  • Ensure existing jurisdictions are compliant with local tax laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build a strong network and ensure compliance with local legislation.
  • Coordinate tax payments, monitor payment dates, and ensure accurate payment amounts.
  • Maintain tax records, legal agreements, customs, and transfer pricing documentation.
  • Assist with notices and audits received from taxing authorities.
  • Provide support on ad hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or tax.
  • 5+ years of combined tax experience in public accounting and/or large multinational companies.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Prior experience at Big 4 accounting firms or multinational companies.
  • Prior experience dealing with e-invoicing environments and VAT.
  • Fluency in French, Spanish, or Portuguese.
  • Data analytics skills, knowledge of OneSource, Alteryx, SQL.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient in work processes.
  • Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively and independently.
Additional Requirements:
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed to meet critical deadlines.
  • This position is based in Hawthorne, CA, and requires on-site work; remote or hybrid work will not be considered.
Compensation and Benefits:

Pay range: $110,000 - $145,000 per year. Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

Exempt employees are eligible for 5 days of sick leave per year.
