Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the company's financial planning and analysis efforts. This position will be responsible for analyzing financial information to predict future trends and supporting forward-looking forecasts. The Senior Financial Analyst will also lead the annual pricing process and model pricing impacts to determine optimal rates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze business and financial data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Pricing and Budgeting: Evaluate pricing and margin structure, and facilitate annual price adjustments to ensure optimal revenue and profitability.
  • Financial Modeling: Create financial models based on analyses to support organizational decision-making.
  • Reporting and Planning: Develop financial plans and reports for organizational leaders to inform strategic decisions.
  • Industry Trends: Analyze industry trends and make recommendations based on those trends to drive business growth.
  • Process Improvement: Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools to improve data efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Annual Budget Process: Support the annual budget process through ownership of various cost categories.
Requirements:
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with business leaders.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to critically review work product.
  • Business Acumen: Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and principles of data analysis.
  • Project Management: Experience with project management and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of SAP and Power BI, with strong Excel skills required.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a similar role.
