About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Medical Social Worker at PeaceHealth. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals and families facing serious illnesses.

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in social work principles and practices, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct social work services to patients and families, including biopsychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and short-term therapy.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, working collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Provide education and instruction to patients and caregivers, promoting self-care and empowerment.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $36.55 - $54.83 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including wellness benefits, discount programs, and expanded EAP and mental health programs.

Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited school
  • Licensed Social Worker in the state of Washington
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
