About the Role

We're looking for a dedicated and experienced therapist to work with survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by these crimes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence.
  • Develop and implement trauma-informed treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Collaborate with our clinical supervisor to ensure high-quality care and adherence to best practices.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client sessions and progress.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant training and education to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Licensed clinical counselor or social worker (LCSW) or Master's level education in social work, counseling, or mental health field working towards licensure.
  • At least 3 years' experience working with sexual assault victims/survivors, understanding domestic violence and IPSV dynamics, child and human development, and how abuse impacts that.
  • Ability to provide superior service using active listening skills during initial and subsequent face-to-face and over-the-phone advocacy appointments to effectively assess and meet participant-established needs.
