Job Summary:

Leidos is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to support the business development and capture activities of our Federal Civil IT (Fed Civ IT) business area. This position is focused on capturing identified opportunities within the Fed Civ IT customer base, enabling Leidos to improve its new business awards and reach into customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead captures by following the Leidos capture process
Perform market research to support assigned captures
Coordinate meetings with customers, competitors, clients, and teammates
Develop and execute the customer call plan
Interact routinely with all levels of Leidos leadership
Brief capture status to senior management
Conduct after action reviews for all business opportunity capture participants

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree, preferred in a related technical field, and 15+ years in a Business Development or a Capture Manager position
Proven track record of successful capture management
Demonstrated access to key Fed Civ IT government customers and industry partners
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Leadership skills to develop, organize and execute significant capture activities
Prior experience supporting business development and capture efforts for civil agencies
Self-starter and ability to manage time independently
Candidate must be a US Citizen
Ability to collaborate and gain internal support
Candidates must be eligible to obtain a security clearance
