Position Overview

*On-Site Role, Not Remote*

We are in search of a proactive Content and Social Media Manager to develop and implement strategies that enhance brand awareness and increase traffic to Jungle Communications and its affiliated platforms, including a local city guide website.

The ideal candidate is naturally curious and creative, thriving in a collaborative environment while demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development.

Experience working with faith-based clients is a plus.

Candidate Profile

  • At least 2 years of experience in social media management or a related role
  • Strong passion for marketing, media, and communications
  • Expertise in best practices across various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Google
  • Adept at analyzing social media performance metrics and presenting findings to senior leadership
  • Experience executing paid advertising campaigns on social media
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in collaborating with writers, designers, developers, clients, and executives
  • Basic knowledge of SEO principles for web content
  • Familiarity with video editing software such as Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, and/or iMovie
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain a monthly content calendar in alignment with team objectives
  • Design engaging and innovative graphics for various platforms
  • Oversee community engagement by responding to comments and managing customer interactions across all channels
  • Research and integrate relevant content in line with social media strategies
  • Optimize profiles and posts for enhanced organic visibility
  • Occasionally edit videos for social media use
  • Ensure brand messaging consistency in tone, voice, and terminology
  • Expand the organization's social media presence
  • Foster strategic partnerships to enhance social media growth

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Familiarity with Canva for graphic design
  • Experience in copywriting and/or blog writing
  • Background in working with faith-based organizations
  • Proficiency in Hootsuite or similar social media management tools
