Position Overview

*On-Site Role, Not Remote*

We are in search of an enthusiastic Content and Social Media Manager to develop and implement strategies that boost brand awareness and increase traffic to Jungle Communications and its affiliated platforms, including a local city guide website.

The ideal candidate is a naturally curious and creative professional who thrives in a team-oriented atmosphere and is eager to learn and grow within their position.

Experience working with faith-oriented clients is a plus.

Candidate Requirements

The Perfect Fit:

  • At least 2 years of experience in social media management or a related role
  • A strong passion for marketing, media, and communications
  • Knowledgeable in best practices across various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Google
  • Adept at analyzing social media metrics and presenting findings to senior leadership
  • Skilled in executing paid advertising campaigns on social media
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experienced in collaborating with writers, designers, developers, clients, and executives
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles for web content
  • Familiarity with video editing software such as Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, and/or iMovie
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee a monthly content calendar, ensuring alignment with team objectives
  • Design engaging and innovative graphics for multiple platforms
  • Monitor community interactions by responding to comments and managing customer engagement across all channels
  • Research and integrate relevant content in line with social media strategies
  • Optimize profiles and posts for enhanced organic visibility
  • Occasionally edit videos for social media purposes
  • Maintain consistency in brand messaging through tone, voice, and terminology
  • Expand the company's social media presence
  • Develop strategic partnerships to enhance social media growth

Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Familiarity with Canva
  • Experience in copywriting and/or blog content creation
  • Background in working with faith-based organizations
  • Proficiency in Hootsuite or similar social media management tools
