Position Overview

This is an in-office role. We are seeking a dedicated Content and Social Media Manager to craft and execute strategies aimed at enhancing brand visibility and driving traffic to Jungle Communications and its affiliated platforms.

The ideal candidate is a naturally inquisitive and imaginative individual who thrives in a small team setting. A strong desire for continuous learning and professional development is essential. Experience working with faith-oriented clients is advantageous.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management or a related field
  • A passion for marketing, media, and communications
  • In-depth knowledge of best practices across various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Google
  • Experience in analyzing social media KPIs and reporting findings to senior management
  • Proficiency in executing paid media campaigns on social media
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with writers, designers, developers, clients, and management
  • General understanding of SEO principles for web content
  • Familiarity with video editing software such as Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, or iMovie
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing and overseeing a monthly content calendar while communicating objectives with team members
  • Creating engaging and innovative graphics for various digital platforms
  • Overseeing community engagement by responding to comments and managing customer service across all channels
  • Researching and implementing relevant content that aligns with our social media strategy
  • Optimizing profiles and posts for organic reach
  • Editing videos for social media content as needed
  • Ensuring brand consistency in messaging through tone, voice, and terminology
  • Expanding the company’s overall social media presence
  • Developing collaborative partnerships for our social media initiatives
Additional Information

While not required, the following qualifications are a plus:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Familiarity with Canva
  • Experience in copywriting or blog writing
  • Previous work with faith-based organizations
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools like Hootsuite
