Position Summary

We are on the lookout for self-motivated professionals who possess a valid property and casualty insurance license and have substantial experience in Contract Surety. This role is designed for individuals seeking a commission-based position that allows for autonomy and a flexible work schedule. As a representative of Colonial Surety Company, you will operate within a designated geographic area, with the support of our proprietary systems and access to pre-qualified leads of public contractors through our CRM.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with clients in your territory to foster relationships and drive sales.
• Utilize provided training and resources to effectively represent our company.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company dress code policies.
• Travel to client meetings within your assigned territory, which may include overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 5-10 years of experience in insurance sales, specifically in Contract Surety.
• Active and up-to-date property and casualty insurance license.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, or Salesforce.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Strong presentation and communication abilities.
