On-Site IT Support Role in the Hospitality Industry

Specific Gravity Group is a leading technology firm dedicated to supporting hospitality and retail businesses. We are looking for a Full-Time IT Support Specialist with a background in hospitality technology to provide essential support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on-site assistance for client systems, including Point of Sale (POS), Audio/Visual (AV), and Network;
  • Handle IT service desk inquiries and manage support tickets;
  • Oversee and maintain POS systems, networks, hardware, and software;
  • Install and configure new hardware and software solutions;
  • Address system alerts and notifications promptly;

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of technical support experience in the hospitality or retail sector;
  • At least 2 years of experience in hospitality or retail environments;
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems;
  • Proficient knowledge of POS hardware and software;
  • Experience providing support for both Windows and Mac operating systems;
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities;

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with hospitality end users;
  • Understanding of email systems and network infrastructure;
  • Familiarity with Audio/Visual systems;
