Job Description

Position Overview: The Application Support Specialist plays a vital role in assisting various business applications, including Office 365, OneDrive, Adobe, Box, and Zoom. Under the guidance of the Application Support Manager, this position requires a deep understanding of these applications' technical functionalities and a collaborative approach with IT personnel and vendors. The primary objective is to deliver effective support and engineering solutions tailored for the Healthcare industry.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily upkeep of assigned applications, providing tier 1 and tier 2 support, troubleshooting issues, coordinating with vendors and internal IT teams, and ensuring seamless operations.
  • Configure, maintain, and support collaboration platforms such as Zoom, O365, Teams, Adobe, and Box. Experience in migrating data from Box to platforms like OneDrive is advantageous.
  • Oversee collaboration solutions while adhering to institutional requirements and enhancing productivity through innovative tools and technologies.
  • Assess and suggest new collaboration technologies, manage user accounts, permissions, and system performance, while offering end-user support.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify collaboration needs, resolve Zoom meeting issues, and assist in organizing virtual events using Teams and Zoom.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, monitor system performance, and manage access control to maintain security and data integrity.
Position Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in managing collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Box, Zoom, and others.
  • Strong proficiency in collaboration software, IT security, and compliance policies, with hands-on experience in Cloud-based applications being a plus.
  • Exceptional communication, customer service, and teamwork skills, coupled with strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage pressure, multitask, and take initiative.
