Key Responsibilities:

As a Self-Service Checkout Associate at Sprouts Farmers Market, you will represent the company by delivering top-notch customer service as customers utilize self-checkout stations.

Supervise self-service checkout stations, ensuring complete customer satisfaction through quick and friendly assistance.
Support customers as they scan, weigh, bag, and pay for their items, facilitating a smooth and efficient experience.
Manage multiple customers simultaneously and proactively address potential issues. Respond to inquiries and assist with challenges that may arise (such as large items, scanning or weighing difficulties, payment concerns, etc.). Monitor scanning activities to guarantee accuracy.

Encourage Sprouts customers to utilize self-service checkout lanes, particularly during busy periods in other lanes. Maintain familiarity with weekly promotions, advertisements, and events; guide customers to product locations throughout the store.

Ensure that self-service checkout areas are consistently kept clean and organized, and perform all other related tasks as assigned.

Express gratitude to customers as they exit the self-service checkout area.

#li-dni Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Previous experience in a retail, customer service, or sales role is preferred; 1-2 years of cashier experience is a plus. Maintain a positive demeanor and demonstrate the ability to engage positively with customers. Be capable of operating front-end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners. Be dependable and flexible, with the ability to adapt to changing schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Exhibit strong communication skills, and the capacity to follow directions and collaborate within a team environment. Ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 30 lbs. from 36" to 24" for distances up to 3 feet for up to 50 hours without mechanical assistance.

Capable of using both hands to maneuver grocery carts horizontally, requiring a force of up to 35 lbs. for distances up to 4 feet for up to 50 hours.

Demonstrate strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers; skilled in cash handling and mathematical calculations.
