Customer Service: Actively seeks out and welcomes customers to comprehend their needs at checkout.
Thanks each customer sincerely for their business and invites them back to Lowe's.
Maintains and builds knowledge of the company's offerings.
Proactively suggests relevant products, credit options, and protection plans associated with Lowe's merchandise during the checkout process.

Utilizes a cash register, assisted self-checkout registers, or mobile checkout units to handle sales transactions, returns, and refunds in accordance with company protocols.

Removes security tags, verifies product details, and packages merchandise for customers.
Responds to EAS alerts.
Handles incoming phone calls, directing them or taking messages as necessary.
Requests assistance to open additional registers to manage high customer traffic.
In-Stock: Ensures merchandise is accurately scanned.
Prepares the register area throughout the day by confirming the functionality of registers and scanners and replenishing register supplies.
Fills and organizes coolers, shelves, and merchandising areas around the front end.
Inspects returned merchandise for damages and sorts returned items appropriately.
Assists with the Pick Up In Store customer experience by selecting and staging merchandise.

Accurately enters and submits customer orders, prints order tickets, verifies receipts, places online orders, and signs off on loading tickets.

Clean and Safe Stores: Identifies common signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks, promptly reporting them to management and/or Asset Protection.

Adheres to housekeeping standards and programs (e.g., Zone Recovery) to maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and work areas.

Ensures a safe and secure work environment, which may involve conducting daily safety assessments, noting hazards, keeping aisles clear, and securing doors and gates.

Complies with all safety requirements relevant to one's regular job duties.
Operates store equipment as necessary based on one's specific role and department.
General Responsibilities: Associates supporting the Administrative office create, manage, and update reports.
Associates may process customer credit card payments and applications, mail invoices, and investigate and resolve credit disputes with customers.

Associates may work in various checkout areas of the store, including: Assisted Self-Checkout, Lumber, Mainline, Outside Lawn & Garden, or Returns.

In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is accountable for other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Less than 1 year of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.

Less than 1 year of experience standing and navigating throughout the checkout areas for extended periods in a retail environment.

Less than 1 year of experience actively moving throughout a fast-paced self-checkout area, overseeing customer scanning of products, walking, reaching, bending, lifting, and relocating products to ensure accurate transaction completion.


Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
