Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

Location: Sioux City, IA

Job Summary:

The Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance to customers via telephone. This role may also require occasional travel to job sites to assist with installation, site commissioning, and addressing product issues. This position will involve supporting all of the company's products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers and dealers with diagnosing problems, operating products, and finding parts or part numbers.
  • Support other employees with product-related questions.
  • Utilize the Cisco phone system to answer calls through the Technical Support line.
  • Assist dealers on-site visits when necessary for product support.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Sales to improve or correct product issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with product changes.

Requirements:

  • Three years of experience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical related fields, including industrial controls and PLC programming.
  • Ag industry experience or a farm background is preferred.
  • Ability to meet requirements for driving a company vehicle.
  • Approximately 25% travel is required (minimum overnight).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.

Education:

Technical Associate degree (electronics preferred) minimum.
