Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Reliability Engineer is to lead and direct the maintenance operations within the facility. Reporting to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager, this role ensures the effective and efficient utilization of all resources related to maintenance. The Reliability Engineer will define, implement, and manage systems, structures, training programs, and processes necessary to enhance and sustain reliability functions. Through these efforts, a proactive culture that prioritizes reliability and effective asset management will be cultivated.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Mechanical or electrical background with technical school education.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in reliability engineering processes.
- Certification as a Maintenance and Reliability Professional is preferred.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is essential; Lean-Six Sigma Black Belt certification is a plus.
- Thorough understanding of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Asset Management, and condition monitoring principles.
- Expertise in maintenance and reliability, material management, planning and scheduling, and optimization of CMMS/EAM/ERP systems.
- Proficiency in popular CMMS solutions such as Maximo 7.6, SAP Maintenance, and MVP Plant.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with a tactful approach.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
