Job Summary

The Benefits Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the benefit programs for Hibbett Retail, Inc. This includes medical, dental, vision, life, disability plans, 401(k), stock purchase plans, and voluntary benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain benefit programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and concerns regarding benefits plans, providing effective and efficient solutions.
  • Manage and monitor FMLA, discretionary leave, and military leave requests, inputting requests into the HRIS system.
  • Manage and monitor government orders, inputting requests into the system.
  • Coordinate open enrollment for benefits, preparing materials and announcements, configuring and testing the system.
  • Analyze industry trends and best practices to inform corporate benefits strategy and meet organizational goals.
  • Develop internal communication strategies to educate and inform employees about benefits.
  • Maintain records of benefits and human resources invoices, processing and submitting invoices.
  • Update and maintain HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity and resolving data errors.
  • Process monthly benefit premium invoices for approval and payment, ensuring timely payment to vendors.
  • Initiate monthly reconciliation of benefit plan deductions, validating and correcting inaccuracies between HRIS and vendor systems.
  • Protect company assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5 or more years of experience in benefits administration.
  • Workday HRIS with Benefits module experience is preferred.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database applications, data query tools, word processing software, electronic mail, and internet search tools.
