Position Overview:
ENGEL Machinery North America is seeking a dedicated Service Engineering Specialist to join our dynamic Service Department. This role is essential for providing exceptional support to our clientele, ensuring their equipment operates at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on injection molding machinery and robotic systems, performing thorough tests and inspections on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic components.
  • Execute safety assessments on all equipment to maintain compliance and operational integrity.
  • Deliver training and guidance to customers on equipment usage and maintenance protocols.
  • Manage customer inquiries and resolve issues, including the procurement and installation of replacement parts.
  • Collaborate with Central Service, Manufacturing, and Parts Center to address field challenges effectively.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports to the Service Manager regarding service activities and customer interactions.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma is required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in injection molding troubleshooting or processing, or as a Field Service Technician/Service Engineer.

Skills and Competencies:
  • Proficient in interpreting blueprints and schematics for troubleshooting various systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of injection molding processes and machinery.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to systematically diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work independently while efficiently utilizing internal resources.
