Job Title: Senior Lead - Strategy & Insights

About the Role:

We're looking for a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of consumer behavior, the media landscape, and the retail industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in consumer insights, media advertising, and strategic planning within an agency or retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to drive the consumer insights agenda.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate consumer insights into product development and marketing plans.
  • Utilize a deep understanding of the media advertising landscape to guide the company's advertising strategies.
  • Lead the development and execution of consumer insights initiatives that align with the company's strategic goals.
  • Manage consumer research, including both quantitative and qualitative research.
  • Apply insights from the retail industry to drive consumer engagement and sales growth.
  • Have experience setting research objectives, writing surveys, and analyzing results.
  • Build media personas, consumer journeys, and insights that will aid in the development of media strategies.
  • Leverage strong storytelling skills to develop impactful reporting and output to influence key stakeholders.
  • Interpret and present data findings to senior leadership, providing clear recommendations for action.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights that inform marketing and advertising strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior shifts.
  • Utilize a variety of consumer insights tools, including MRI-Simmons, Pathmatics, Meltwater, NetBase, YouGov, and GWI, to gather and analyze data.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for consumer insights, advising senior management and stakeholders on trends and insights.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in consumer insights, with a strong focus on media advertising and the retail industry.
  • Proficiency in using consumer insights tools such as MRI-Simmons, Pathmatics, Meltwater, NetBase, YouGov, and GWI.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings clearly.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills.
